CAR Check

Friday, October 5 from 8:00 AM - NOON! Triad It’s time for our annual CAR CHECK/CAR FIT event. Stop on by Hometown Auto Clinic on Friday, October 5th from 8am-11:00am to have your vehicle inspected and fluids changed, free.

Halloween Party

Monday, October 29 at 12:30 PM Food, Fun, Games, and a visit from the famous Wizard, Bellalinda Kaiserini! Open to all seniors ages 55+ who come dressed in costume. Loaner costumes will be available the day of the party.

Senior Center Weather Closings

If Verona Schools are closed due to weather the Senior Center will be closed as well. This also means that all of our Transportation Services, including MOW will not be available that day.

Club 108

Club 108 at the Verona Senior Center. Club 108 is a program for individuals with early memory loss. The program meets on Wednesdays and Fridays from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM. There is no cost for the Club, but lunch is included during the program for $5. If you are interested in enrolling or have questions, please contact our case manager, Becky Losby, at 845-7471.

Monthly Support Groups

The Verona Senior Center offers a support group for persons living with or caring for family members with Parkinson's Disease; Caregiver Support Group; and a Healthy Living Discussion Group. No registration required and drop in’s are welcomed. Contact Becky Losby (845-7471 for details. Check the Chronicle or the complete monthly calendar on the website for dates and times.

Volunteer Opportunities


The Senior Center depends heavily on volunteers to help with all of its programs. Bring your skills, hobbies, knowledge and tallents. Volunteering is fun and rewarding, as well as being essential to the Center. Check with a staff member for volunteer opportunities
