What’s New

Morning Coffee Hour Come for coffee and treats at 9:00 am every weekday morning at the Senior Center.

Country Gospel Music and Potluck - Tuesday, July 15 Ham sandwiches provided; bring a dish to pass.

Treats on the Veranda Every Friday (in July and August) at 1:45

July Birthday/Anniversary Party Friday July 18; Lunch at 11:45; Cajun Band 12:30

Monthly Support Groups
The Verona Senior Center offers a support group for persons living with or caring for family members with Parkinson's Disease ; a Caregiver Support Group for persons caring for a family member or friend; and a Diabetes Discussion Group . No registration required and drop in’s are welcomed. Contact Becky Losby (845-7471 for details. Check the Chronicle or the complete monthly calendar on the website for dates and times.

Volunteer Opportunities The VAAA and the Senior Center depend heavily on volunteers. The VAAA needs help in organizing and managing events. The Senior Center needs volunteers to help with all of its programs. Volunteering is fun and rewarding, as well as being essential to the Center. Check with Chris or a VAAA Board member for volunteer opportunities
